Mumetal alloy is available in many forms but most shields are fabricated from either our plate sheet or coil stock.

Mumetal foil is fully annealed and available in stock guages from 002 to 010 thickness 0 05mm to 0 25mm. Sheet in gauges 0 014 to 0 080 thickness 0 36mm to 2 00mm plate in gauges from 0 098 to 0 197 thickness 2 5mm to 5 0mm and foil in gauges from 002 to 010 thickness 0 05mm to 0 25mm. You should keep that in mind making your selection. Mumetal foil is fully annealed and available in stock guages from 002 to 010 thickness 0 05mm to 0 25mm.

Co netic is also used where high attenuation is desired. Mumetal alloy is available in many forms but most shields are fabricated from our sheet or coil stock in gauges from 0 014 to 0 125 thickness 0 36mm to 3mm. Mumetal foil stock is fully annealed and available in gauges from 0 002 to 0 012 thickness 0 05mm to 0 3mm. Used for shielding sensitive electronic devices from unwanted electromagnetic interference.

Mumetal stress annealed alloy is available in many forms but most shields are fabricated from our sheet stock in gauges from 014 to 062 thickness 0 36mm to 1 57mm. Mumetal foil is available in stock gauges from 0 002 to 0 012 thickness 0 05mm to 0 3mm. Very flexible and easy to cut with scissors. Although mu metal comes in various thicknesses it is a rather soft material and may prove to be difficult to work with if it is too thin.
