These prevent the operation of the garage door opener with hand held remotes.
My garage door will not open with the remote.
Check to be sure the antenna is attached and if it is not hanging down from the unit move the antenna so it can catch the beam being sent by the remote.
Try using your remote to open or close your door to determine if the reprogramming was successful.
If the remote works from inside the garage but not from the outside then most likely the antenna wire on the garage door opener itself may be damaged broken or not in visible range.
The batteries in the remote are brand new and the door still won t open.
To reprogram your garage door remote locate then press your opener s learn button.
Try resetting the remote.
When the liftmaster wall station is locked you will notice a blinking green light in the center of the large white push button.
To unlock the lock feature hold your finger on the lock button for 10 seconds the green light will stop blinking and become steady.
If the remote is set to the correct frequency then this may not be a remote problem but rather a problem with the garage opener itself.
If the door opens when you press the button on the wall mounted control keypad but not when you use the remote you might have just pinpointed the source of the problem.
