If your orbi satellite ring is solid blue for 90 180 seconds the connection between your orbi router and satellite is good.

If your orbi satellite ring is solid magenta it is unable to obtain an ip address from your router or unable to your router. Orbi satellite stuck on solid blue mine is exaclty the same blue led stuck on but other than that the connections seem to be fine. The satellite is ready to sync to the router press the sync button. This has happened only recently since the firmware v2 0 0 72 update rbr50 router 2 rbs50 satellites. Optional add on satellites are sold separately and can be added to your orbi network. To find the app scan a qr code or search for netgear orbi in the apple app store or google play store. Blue for three minutes.

If the satellite successfully syncs with the router the satellite s ring led lights white then lights blue to indicate a good connection and then turns off.
